The author, Sandra Turner,
is a freelance writer and editor and publisher of a nationwide
magazine for Christian singles. She has worked for Tennessee
newspapers, including the Herald-Citizen and the Tennessean,
as editor of an East Tennessee weekly newspaper, as a writer/editor
for TVA's Power Division in Chattanooga, and as an English teacher
at York Institute and Clarkrange High School in Fentress County.
She has B.A. and M.S. degrees from the University of Tennessee,
Knoxville. She is a member of the Fentress County Chamber of
Commerce and currently does publicity for the annual Allardt
Pumpkin Festival.
