The Importance of Your Words

Positive thinking will change your attitude and your outlook on your circumstances, but it will not change the circumstances themselves. Only positive confession will change your circumstances for the better.

Jesus did not say, "Think positive thoughts about the mountain and it will be removed and be cast into the sea. What Jesus said was, "If you say unto this mountain be removed and be cast into the sea and don't doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, you shall have whatsoever you say." Mark 11:23

It is the words of your mouth that will change your life, your body, your circumstances, and - if they don't oppose you - other people's as well.

What you are saying today is shaping your life and your circumstances for tomorrow. What you are today is a result of what you've been saying for all the days you've lived on the earth.

Not only your intentional words, but every idle word you speak shapes your todays and tomorrows.

There is an accounting taking place of every word that comes out of your mouth.

Every negative word cancels positive words you have spoken.

Your words energize mighty forces, either for or against you.
